Hunter safety is still a primary concern, but hunter ethics, wildlife management, survival, and other topics are important parts of the course as well. Hunter education has helped in many ways. Hunting incidents have declined dramatically, hunter behavior has improved, and many species of wildlife have been restored to abundance with hunter's dollars.
